отново за Сафари 4 и ХакОС:)

просто не мога да се примиря да нямам сафари 4. попаднах на този метод на insanely-то:
I only checked for a new version of Safari because I started having problems with the Google web application software.

This is what to do to install the newest version of Safari on 10.5.1.

I think you may need to Developer Tools to get this to work.

1) Download the newest version of Safari.
2) Copy the installer package off the mounted image.
3) Right click the installer package and choose to open with the "Flat Package Editor".
4) You'll see a list of files, drag the "Distribution" file out onto the Desktop and delete the one that stays in the installer package.
5) Open the "Distribution" file with your favourite text editor.
6) There is a line in that file that will look like this:-

                if(0 != system.compareVersions(my.target.systemVersion.ProductVersion, '10.5.2')) {
               my.result.message = system.localizedString('ERROR_OS');
                    return (false);
                }


Edit the '10.5.2' and change it to 10.5.1.
7) Save the file.
8) Drag the new "Distribution" file back into the installer package in the "Flat Package Editor".
9) Save the installer package and install away.

Някой правил ли е нещо подобно и въобще тея Development Tools как се свалят от Епъл за да пробвам? Също според вас ако го направя има ли после начин да се върна на старото сафари ако нещо се омаже?
PS Това е писано по времето, когато 3.1 е била последната версия на safarito. Не знам дали ще сработи с 4бета
